About the event
Welcome to the Niyama Series of Yoga for Beginners!
Each session will focus on a particular Niyama/Do's of Yoga Philosophy and include specific asanas each week aimed at total spinal cord health- Forward Bends, Back Bends, Lateral Bends, Twists, and Inversions.
Awaken and rejuvenate with a traditional hatha yoga class. A combination of stretching, asanas, pranayama, and meditation will set you up for success with a strong body and calm mind to take on whatever life brings on.
Beginners are welcome! Classes are taught live and 2-way communication helps make sure you feel confident that you are getting the most out of each class. We will spend the first 45-50 mins doing asanas/yoga postures, followed by 10-15 mins of pranayama/breathing exercises, and wrap the session with 20-25 mins of guided meditation.Â
