About the event

Welcome to the Yama Niyama Series by Arva Yoga

Here is an opportunity to learn something new and keep those new year resolutions, build strength and overall wellness by way of practicing yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation.

Each week we will focus on a particular Yama/Don'ts and Niyama/Do's of Yoga Philosophy as well as asanas focused on a particular position of the body as well as the type of asanas.

Week 1. Forward Bends & Standing asanas, 

Week 2. Back Bends & Seated asanas, 

Week 3. Lateral Bends & Table Top pose asanas 

Week 4. Twists & Supine or asanas lying on your back and

 Week 5. Inversions & Prone or asanas laying on your belly! Awaken and rejuvenate with a traditional hatha yoga class.

 A combination of stretching, asanas, pranayama, and meditation will set you up for success with a strong body and calm mind to take on whatever life brings on. Beginners welcome! Classes are taught live and 2-way communication helps make sure you feel confident that you are getting the most out of each class.

This program also runs as a partnership w/Doylestown Township.
